AG.DOT sind verbindlich!
Manuscripts are to be submitted as email-attachments (preferable) or on disk.
Deadline for the submission of manuscripts is the 31st March of each year.
The editor assumes that the authors submit their contributions in their final form. Articles cannot be returned to the authors for corrections.
Authors must observe the following instructions and must use the MS Word Template AG.dot which can be downloaded here or requested from the Editor.
- Notes should be used only for additional comments, and not to reference quotes. They should be placed as end-notes after the text. Please insert notes manually, i.e. do not use your word processor's automatic footnoting program.
- References are placed in parentheses after quotes, not in the end-notes. They should be listed and punctuated in accordance with the following examples:
Embedded in life, experience is the unity of memory and imagination: "Just as there is no imagination which does not rest on memory, there is also no memory without an aspect of imagination" (Dilthey 1921:116).
This type of socialization of risk implies that the injured, sick or unemployed worker no longer demands justice before the courts or by taking to the streets. He presents his entitlement to administrative authorities who, after examining the justified grounds of his claims, dispense pre-determined indemnities. (Donzelot 1988:404)
- The end-notes are followed by a list of Works Cited. This contains all works mentioned in the text (but only those works), and should conform to the following examples (please note punctuation and capitalization):
Dilthey, Wilhelm 1921 [1906]. Das Erlebnis und die Dichtung. Göttingen: Vandenhoeck & Ruprecht. Veit, Walter. 1992.
"'In Australia we read it differently...': Interculturality and the theory of literary criticism." Striking Chords. Multicultural Literary Interpretations. Edited by Sneja Gunew and Kateryna O. Longley. Sydney: Allen & Unwin: 129-145.
Donzelot, Jacques. 1988. "The promotion of the social." History of the Present 3: 5-15.
- Please submit your article as a file saved in one of the common word processing formats together with three (3) hard copies. Please use as few formatting commands as possible, i.e. insert notes manually, do not use headers or automatic page numbering, style-sheets and the like.
- An abstract of about 100 to 150 words in English should precede the text.
