Das Herausgebergremium

Das Herausgebergremium besteht aus dem Herausgeber und drei Mitherausgebern. Der Herausgeber erhält die Beiträge und ist verantwortlich für deren Publikation. Der Herausgeber stellt in Absprache mit dem Herausgebergremium sicher, dass alle zur Veröffentlichung in der Acta Germanica eingereichten Beiträge von mehreren Gutachtern gelesen und in anonymisierter Form beurteilt werden. Alle Entscheidungen des Herausgebergremiums werden mehrheitlich getroffen. Im Falle einer Stimmengleichheit ist die Stimme des Herausgebers ausschlaggebend. Falls ein Beitrag vom Herausgebergremium abgelehnt wird, wird dieser dem Autor mit oder ohne Begründung der Ablehnung und mit oder ohne Kommentare der Gutachter zurückgesandt. Der Herausgeber vertritt das Herausgebergremium gegenüber dem Verlag in allen technischen und finanziellen Belangen. Das Herausgebergremium ist der Vollversammlung des SAGV gegenüber verantwortlich. 

Editorial Committee

The Editorial Committee consists of the Editor and three Co-Editors. The Editor receives manuscripts for publication and acts as Editor-in-charge. The Editor in consultation with the Editorial Committee sees to it that all manuscripts submitted for publication in Acta Germanica are refereed by a panel of experts. The method known as blind refereeing is used in all cases. All decisions of the Editorial Committee are taken by a majority of the total members of the Committee. In the case of equality of votes, the Editor has a casting vote. In the event of the contribution being rejected by the Editorial Committee it will be returned to the author with or without stating reasons for the refusal and with or without proposals for possible amendments. The Editor prepares the manuscript for publication and represents the Editorial Committee in relation to the publishers in all technical and financial matters. The Editorial Committee is accountable to the General Meeting of all members of the SAGV.
